Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) (Hons.) in Capital Markets

The B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons. with Research) program at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth aims to teach students about financial markets, investment strategies and capital market operations. It integrates the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) certification-oriented courses for industry exposure and a holistic learning experience. CVV University has also partnered with leading institutions to enhance this B.Com programme for learning support and market-ready training. 

The B.Com course covers fundamental commerce topics such as accounting, business law, management, auditing, taxation, and quantitative techniques. This specialization covers capital markets with subjects including mutual fund marketing, securities operations, risk management, equity derivatives, and research analysis.

Students have an option to exit the programme within the first 3 years. They will be awarded a certificate (exiting from 1st year), a diploma (exiting from 2nd year), or the B.Com degree (exiting the 3rd year). On completion of the 4th year, students can choose to take up research for the honours with a research degree.
