An MD in DrNB Neurology at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences is a super-specialty postgraduate degree that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. It is done under the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and is equivalent to DM Neurology.

Additional specialized training is gained in neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Students are trained in state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques, such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging interpretation.
